Aswagandhadi Lehyam
An
excellent
rejuvenative tonic, it gives many of the same benefits
as Chyavanaprasam, with a slightly warmer energy. Its major
ingredient, Aswagandha, has been called "the Indian Ginseng," and is
considered the best Rasayana for the muscles, marrow, semen and for the
Vata dosha.It stimulates appetite and bodily power, enhances
complexion and immunity and slows aging. Additionally, because it
harbors the nervine qualities intrinsic to Aswagandha root, it is
excellent for nervous disorders and conditions of excess Vata such as emaciation,
anxiety and weakness
A
rejuvenator whose properties are many and varied. Its primary
ingredient, Amla, or Amalaki, is exceedingly high in Vitamin C and
anti-oxidant properties and is considered the best Rasayana for the
Pitta dosha, though Chyavanaprasam is recommended for people of all
constitutions. It improves immunity and builds tissue and
vigor. It
treats general and sexual debility, as well as the decline resulting
from old age. It is a tonic for the brain, heart, eyesight,
