Ksheerabala Thailam

Ksheerabala is a marvelous oil with a ”toasty’ fragrance. It is similar to Mahanaryana, but more cooling.  It is used for vata conditions affecting the nervous system* At Tri Health Ayurveda we use it in our spa for shirodhara.

Only containing three ingredients, this ancient magical formula from the Ayurvedic text Sahasrayogam includes cow milk (ksheera), black sesame (taila) and bala – sida retusa (teaweed).  All oils penetrate into the cells via lipid delivery.

Our oil has strong potency,so you can add up to 50% black sesame and still end up with an effective herbalized oil comparible to other products on the market.  In addition to the regular external massage oil, we have concentrates of Ksheerabala 3 x strength and 101 x strength suitable for internal and external use.
