“Excellent in any Vata, and suitable for Valta-gulma and colic and also Vatasonita.  Good for external and internal use and for nasya and abhyanga.  Good in deafness, loss of semen and facial paralysis.  Helps women in conceiving.  Good in tongue and teeth ailments (and insanity!).”*
